Pottery Workshops
Pottery workshops provide an economical opportunity to learn basic clay handbuilding techniques. Participants create an item of their choosing in one, two, or three two hour sessions, depending on item chosen and personal preference. All pieces will be smoothed, bisque-fired to cone 4, glazed, fired again to cone 6, and delivered to the workshop site. Min. 5/ Max. 10.
One Session- $50 per person
Suitable for signs, mirror frames, trays, mugs, and ornaments. Participants create item and may add an underglaze color (s). Pieces will be dried, smoothed, taken to Queen City Clay for bisque-firing, glazed with clear gloss or matte, fired to Cone 6, and then delivered to workshop site. Note: Project will be less refined.

Pieces will be dried and brought back for final smoothing, etc. and underglaze color(s) may be applied. Pieces will be fully dried, and then taken to Queen City Clay for bisque-firing, glazed with clear gloss or matte, fired to Cone 6, and then delivered to workshop site.
